We invite proposals that examine the representation of history and memory in the works of one of the following writers:


Ishmael Reed

Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o

Nikki Giovanni

John Oliver Killens



Interested faculty, independent researchers and students should submit via email a one to two page proposal with literature references by January 15, 2012 to:
